Community Nyms is where the best Acrophobia answers live on. After a game, you can save your favorite phrases as “Nyms” and share them with the entire community.
Saving a Nym
After any round, you can save your answer (or any winning answer) as a Nym:
- Tap the save button on the answer you want to keep
- Optionally attach a GIF to bring it to life
- Choose whether to make it public or private
- Your Nym is saved to your collection
Enable Auto-Post in your settings to automatically save all your answers as public Nyms without tapping save each time.
Browsing Nyms
Visit the Community section to browse Nyms from players around the world.
Sorting Options

See a Nym you love? Tap the nominate button to give it a boost. Nominated Nyms rise in the “Most Nominated” rankings and get more visibility.
Sharing
Every Nym has its own shareable web page at acrophobia.app/share/{id}. Share Nyms via:
- Direct link — Copy the URL to share anywhere
- Text message — Send to friends
- Social media — Post to your favorite platforms
Shared Nym pages include the acronym letters, the winning phrase, the attached GIF (if any), and a link to download the app.
Browse all Community Nyms on the web at acrophobia.app/community. The web version supports:
- Language-filtered browsing
- Sorting by newest, most nominated, or most viewed
- Individual Nym detail pages with social sharing meta tags
